Fast forward 15 years and you get a train looking like this. The southbound working had altered to a very early departure from Warwick to place the empty hoppers at The Summit, which became the sole loading point. The train would then run further south to Stanthorpe to stable while the crew rested as shown in this view, before heading north with the loaded train later in the afternoon. In mid winter the timing was very awkward with little light available. The train had lost its earlier character to be replaced with a typical QR unit-train look, albeit a very short one. 25 May 2006.
