|During the 1980s the Lachlan Valley Railway
(LVR) was quite active and with two major sites (Cowra and West Ryde), stock
was moved around occasionally. LVR also ran many trips to other places which
added to the variety of possible new photo locations.
The first image is from Sunday April 13th. 1986 when LVR ran a double-headed steam working from their Cowra base to Sydney, via Blayney, Bathurst and Lithgow.
The next three images are from 23 August 1986: LVR had sent 3026T to Cootamundra to run a series of shuttle trips to Stockinbingal and return with a five car rake of end platform cars. The trips were well patronised by the locals.
